THE PERFECT WEDDING
In Tuscan Wine Estate
Burgundy, a colour that recalls red wine and its rich texture. The color of a deep and refined passion.
M&A wanted this color in their wedding since the beginning, even before they had chosen their wedding venue. Was it a coincidence that they chose beautiful the Wine Estate Tenuta di Artimino in Tuscany for their wedding? This place with the famous 100 Chimney Villa (or Villa La Ferdinanda) has everything a couple would hope for: elegant features and a deep legacy with Tuscany history, breathtaking views over the rolling hills and the city of Florence in the distance, unforgettable sunsets, and delicious wine produced in the estate.
We chose the front of the villa for the ceremony as the main door and windows have the main color M&A chose in their wedding palette. We smartly dilute the strong burgundy color with shades of pink, blush, and ivory so to create a very elegant effect. A note on this perfect wedding, one of the grooms is Jewish and his initial request was to have a sort of Chuppah. After a good thinking, our designer came up with the idea of using the balcony on top of the main door to create our special Chuppah. And so it was. The arch was very tall and it was shaped on the door design from there we built two columns to get to the ground and form the couple’s “home”.
On the other side of the garden, the elegant stairs open to the view of a breathtaking landscape. This is where the dinner happened under a ceiling of fairy lights. The guests enjoyed every single moment of the day thanks to lots of details in place for them, from the music which was different for every important moment, to the lovely and funny “ring the bell for champagne”, to the escort cards handmade by an illustrator and resembling each one of the guests.
The wedding cake was another emotional moment offered by the beauty of the important stairs of the Tuscan villa, perfectly illuminated with a warm light. The cake was placed under the original frescoes of the villa terrace making this wedding moment even more perfect. All the guests on the stairs waiting for the cake-cutting moment and ready to go party straight after.
To end the perfect day, we completely changed the aspect of an empty and enormous room for the dance party with a giant mirror ball and perimetral lights to have one last “wow” from the guests.
