The planned activities for an age between 3 and 5 years old should not last more than 15-20 minutes each. The ability to concentrate at that stage is not very long so you need to plan lots of different activities.
Children's fun can't wait after the cake to start. Little ones can't stay a long time sitting on a chair. The fun must start as soon as the banquet begins.
Young children will soon feel tired, they'll need a place where to have some rest. Find a sheltered place where children can lie down on large colorful cushions (you can ask the catering to bring the cushions).
Children's meals should be lighter and faster. Parents could be worried about what their children will have for dinner so it'd be nice to inform them before your wedding day that children will have a healthy and juicy meal.
